BACKGROUND
After eleven years in advertising at DDB London & Ogilvy, becoming a mother to twins and three years in Chicago, my return to London brought about a career change. Working for a local charity, close to my heart, Small Steps, I realised that the strategic marketing & branding skills I had learnt working on national brands, could make a real difference in my own community and that 'big brand thinking' could be a force-for-good within smaller, non-commercial organisations that support and enrich all of our lives. This in mind, I have founded growgood and hope that I can work alongside community groups, charities and those starting out, to help them to organise, differentiate, target, promote and ultimately to grow.

Qualitative
Research Experience
Successfully used qualitative research & group moderation techniques to determine future direction and how to manage organisational change. Able to create a collaborative & positive atmosphere and to produce clear, intelligent & directive recommendations.
Two examples of this are, Parent Survey for Small Steps in 2017 & Project 'Take Stock' for Sheen Lawn Tennis & Squash Club in 2018.
"Tricia undertook a grass roots survey of users, alumni, suppliers, trustees, parents etc of the charity to identify the key USPs. This aided us to truly understand what the charity was about. She also made recommendations for future development of the charity in terms of consolidating what was already being offered, but also looking for opportunities to expand our offering. This is a valuable piece of research which is still being used."
Andrea Samuelson, Chair of Trustees, Small Steps
"While working for Small Steps, Tricia undertook a large project analysing the charity and carried out numerous interviews with parents, staff and trustees. From her data she produced an excellent presentation describing the ethos and structure of the charity and outlining its strengths. This presentation has been useful for informing our future direction and helps lay the foundations for our future strategic planning and new business plan."
Joanna Brotherstone MBE, Trustee of Small Steps
" A very good piece of work that will shape our future direction.
Thank you for the excellent presentation and for giving the Club the benefit of your considerable expertise. It is very much appreciated by the MC and most importantly, our members themselves."
